Send Tweets and update your Twitter profile directly from SAMMI.

Setup

1. Install the extension. You can follow the Extension Install Guide.

2. Sign in to Twitter:

   • Go to your Bridge - Twitter Tab.
   • Click on Login, then select Open or Copy Twitter URL (and open it).
   • Copy the provided PIN.
   • Enter the PIN into the "Enter PIN" input field and click Authenticate. Once it says "Logged in," you're good to go.

3. Handling 429 Errors (Quota Exceeded): Be cautious when using the 'Tweet', 'Reply', and 'Create Poll' commands. If you see a 429 error, it means the default app has reached its tweet quota for the day. You have two choices:

   1. Wait until the next day to post more tweets (recommended).
   2. Modify the code to use your own credentials if you need to tweet beyond the default limit. This option is not officially supported and is entirely at your own risk.

   Using your own Twitter App

   If you decide to use your own Twitter App and API keys to bypass the default limit, it's entirely your responsibility. Follow this article for more info. Use a secondary or throwaway Twitter account, and mention the project and app are for personal use.

4. Once authenticated, you can start sending Tweets directly from SAMMI. Open the premade deck and follow the instructions in the comments of each button.
